ACT
The ACT is an exam used by colleges and universities as a factor in determining a student's admissions status. Minimum scores vary from school to school and major to major. Students interested in a particular school should check with the Admissions Office of the school for more information to see if there is a minimum score.
The ACT is made up of reading, mathematics, English and science tests with an optional Writing Test. This test was designed to show what skills and knowledge the students have achieved through high school.
The basic registration fee for the ACT without the writing is $42.50 and $58.50 with the writing. Additional fees may be required. Fee waivers are also available for students who qualify.
The Army has MARCH 2 SUCCESS, FREE online test preparation courses, that may help students prepare for various tests. Go to www.march2success.com to enroll.
Students interested in taking the ACT can register online at http://www.actstudent.org/regist/index.html. Students should make sure that they include our high school code so that we receive their test scores. Our school code is 390-780.
