About Mr. Thom
I earned a B.S. in Animal Science from Penn State in 1995, followed by a B.S. Ed. in Biology from IUP in 1997. I went on to earn my Masters in Biology in 1999 while conducting research on freshwater hydrozoans ("jellyfish") at IUP. I began working at Purchase Line in the fall of 1999 and have more than 20 years teaching experience. I am certified in Biology, Earth & Space Science, General Science, and Middle School Mathematics. I currently teach Biology, Advanced Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology.
