Anatomy & Physiology

Anatomy & Physiology is a rigorous course designed to be taken by students after the successful completion of Biology and Chemistry. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, cells and tissues, integumentary system, skeletal and muscular systems, nervous system, cardiovascular and respiratory systems, digestive and urinary systems. The course is intended for students interested in a medical profession (pre-med, nursing, physical therapy, medical technology, etc.).The textbook is a college-level text. Students should expect a demanding workload including, but not limited to, weekly readings, homework & in-class assignments, test & quizzes, lab activities, projects, and dissection.
 
There will be a comprehensive semester test at the end of the first semester, and a comprehensive final exam at the conclusion of the course.
 
The course is available for dual-enrollment through St. Francis University and Mt. Aloysius College.
