Top 3 Keys to Success in Mathematics
 
  1. Do your homework!  Homework is a time to practice and master the skills learned in class.  There is no substitute for hard work and preparation!
  2. Make mistakes...but learn from them.  Doing math means making lots of mistakes!  The important part is that you work to understand how and why you made those mistakes.
  3. Don't wait to ask for help.  The longer you wait, the more you will have to get caught up on.  Math is constantly building off of previously learned concepts.  Don't let yourself get behind!
About me:
I have been teaching mathematics at Purchase Line for over 10 years.  I received my Bachelor's degree in mathematics education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.  I obtained my special education certification from IUP in 2013 and computer science certification in 2022.
