English 11-12 (Period 3)

English 11-12 is a course available for 11th and 12th grade students.  The course focuses on strengthening reading and writing standards crucial to success in the real world.  The course also incorporates many of the Career and Technology standards that are important for success in vocational and career endeavors.

 

A component of the course is a vocabulary curriculum with Common Core enriched lessons that utilize word lists that are academic and domain-specific with an instructional model that encourages group interaction, multi-model learning, and independent practice.
