Probability and Statistics is a course designed to challenge the students and prepare them for a college level mathematics course.  The students can also choose to pay for college credit while taking the course.  The college credits are awarded by either St. Francis University or Mount Aloysius College.  

 

Probability & Statistics covers the nature of statistics, methods of describing sample data and numerical methods for analyzing data.  The basic theory of probability and some of the properties of distribution are given.  Some time is spent on normal distribution and sampling.
